Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
1. Who we are
Growth.ai is a software platform that helps church and ministry staff track attendance, giving, and engagement, and surfaces a short weekly list of people who may be falling through the cracks. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and platform, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Growth.ai also includes Content Studio. A church or ministry uploads or links sermon video and audio, and Content Studio creates transcripts, video clips, and AI-written content from it. Sermon media, transcripts, clips, and the written content made from them are stored with the organization's account and are processed by the service providers listed in Section 4.
The legal entity name operating Growth.ai, its registered business address, and its state/country of formation are still being finalized.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in a few different ways:
- Account information you or your organization provide when you sign up: name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), church/organization name, and role.
- Congregation data your organization's administrators upload to the platform (for example, attendance records, giving records, and contact information for members of your congregation) so that Growth.ai can generate the engagement insights the platform is built to provide. Your organization controls this data; we process it on your organization's behalf.
- Usage and device information collected automatically when you use our website or platform, such as IP address and browser type.
- Sermon and content data that an organization provides to Content Studio, such as sermon video and audio, and the transcripts, clips, and AI-written content created from them.
- Email message data: records that an email was sent, queued, blocked, or failed, kept so the platform can send email and honor unsubscribe requests. Growth.ai does not currently send text messages (see Section 5).
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Growth.ai platform.
- To generate the engagement insights and weekly summaries the platform is designed to produce.
- To send you service communications, including account-related email.
- To respond to support requests.
- To maintain the security and integrity of our platform, including detecting and preventing fraud or misuse.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to operate Growth.ai. Each processes information only as needed to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Mux — video storage and streaming. Receives the sermon video and audio an organization provides, and the clips made from them. Playback links are not protected by a login.
- AssemblyAI — speech-to-text transcription. Receives sermon audio and returns the transcript.
- Anthropic — AI text generation and clip selection. Receives sermon transcripts and text built from them.
- Inngest — background job processing. Receives the job details needed to run a task, which can include the message text.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Growth.ai, our users, or others.
5. SMS / text messaging
Text messaging (SMS) is not currently available. Growth.ai does not send text messages today, and no SMS service provider is in use. Text messaging is planned only. See our SMS Consent & Terms page.
We do not share mobile phone numbers collected for text-message follow-up consent purposes with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data retention
We retain account and congregation data for as long as your organization's account is active. Growth.ai does not currently have an automated process that removes an organization's data when its account ends. Deleting a sermon project in the app marks it as deleted but does not remove the stored video, transcripts, or files held by Growth.ai or by the service providers listed in Section 4.
A specific retention period (for example, a number of days after account closure) has not yet been verified against actual product/database behavior and is still being finalized.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. A monitored contact for privacy requests has not yet been published (see Section 10). If your information was provided by a church or ministry, you can also ask that organization, which controls that data.
Which specific privacy law(s) apply to you (for example, CCPA/CPRA for California residents or GDPR for EU/UK users) has not yet been determined and is still being finalized.
8. Children's privacy
Growth.ai is a business tool intended for use by church and ministry staff, not by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, including row-level access controls in our database designed to keep each organization's data separate and automatic sign-out of inactive staff sessions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Contact us
A real privacy contact email or mailing address that is actually monitored has not yet been provided and is still being finalized.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
